Children focused on painting the beautiful scenes in their minds on boards. Due to the increasingly polluted environment, international volunteers wanted the children to understand more about the serious result from climate change through experience sharing. By doing so, they plant the concept of environmental protection in their mind.

(“We are here to promote World Cleanup Day. We hope that everyone starts to realize and treasure natural resources that we own. We share a very beautiful cultural resource, and let us cleanup the environment through actual actions, to make our future better. Over all, this is the key take-away we want to deliver to the children.” said by Let’s Do It! Taiwan Chairman Juanita Ho.)
Via combining environmental-protection with local culture, we design lectures with rich content. Children expressed that they benefited from the lectures a lot.

(“I had a really good time enjoying the class today. I learned a lot of environmental-related knowledge and things about ancient buildings. The teacher said if it’s dirty, we will be unable to live in the world in the future.”Ruibei Elementary School student Manan Manteca who is from Bunun tribe said.)

(“Environmental protection should be done by everybody together. If not, it will get much dirtier.” Ruibei Elementary School student Itik Suhekan said.)

The organizer Ler’s Do It! has been established for 11 years. Now, they are one of the cooperative NPO recognized by UN, and there has been people from 157 countries joined the organization. This time, they invite the public to join World Cleanup Day on September 21st and protect our living surroundings.
